Have you seen My Bloody Valentine? Okay, replace a vengeful miner with a WWII vintage GI and a Valentine’s dance with a college graduation party, and then drain of all that Canadian charm, and you have The Prowler. Have you seen the end of Friday the 13th where the heroine has a dream where the resurrected corpse of Jason Voorhees rises from the lake to drown her? Welp, you’ve seen the template for The Prowler’s ending. Have you seen Halloween? Well, so did everyone else who made a slasher film post 1978.

There’s just not all that much to be said about The Prowler. It’s fine for what it is. You’ll seen some unfortunate fashion and hair. Tom Savini does the effects. That’s nice. Otherwise…
